The problem absolutely was/is something introduced with the newest OS code builds from Apple mixed with the post 44048 builds, I guess. The issue with accessing the GUI was not only on WiFi devices but also on a wired MacBook. While I never had connection issues with newer code levels as some Apple users have reported, falling back to the r44048 on my platform and (sadly) having to reconfigure everything, fixed the GUI problem. Posted: Thu 17:04 Post subject: R44048 fixed the GUI issue Pogo - A minimal level of ability is expected and needed.Īt some point, people just get plain tired of this place.īecause they are tired of bottom-feeders and the same old hat. "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly All is vanity" Apple devices have always had some kinda quirk accessing wi-fi APs, even on stock firmware. If functionality is determined by wireless access to the webUI, then that is not a good benchmark as you shouldn't be accessing it that way, anyway. My boggle here is that all of the public wi-fi APs that I run in mixed environments, currently on alpha 46450, are all working without issue. Maybe the Apple devices trigger this stack trace? Not sure.Ĥ4048 is the safe release if you have Apple devices in your environment. It appears to be more than just the GUI not working. Apple devices that are connected at the time stay connected and working but no new devices can connect to the AP. No issues accessing GUI with either Safari or Chrome.Ĥ6069 was the last release that didn't crash the GUI and leave a stack-track in dmesg. Kernel VersionLinux 4.9.330 #3466 SMP Thu Oct 13 02:01:23 +07 2022 armv7lĭevices: Sonos, Apple, QNAP, Laserjet other The problem presents itself following the authentication to the router and appears with Safari, Crome, and Firefox. I am seeing this on WiFi attached iPhones and iPads as well as an Ethernet attached MacBook - all with the most recents OS updates. There appears to possibly be an issue with access the router GUI for users who have applied the most recent iOS and MacOS updates. The issue has nothing to do with Apple devices connecting and having internet access.
